Adult Volunteer Info

We are excited about your participation with Camp Frozen Chozen.
Camp theme for 2023 is "every good space adventure begins with a mission".

Greetings from Camp Frozen Chozen!
The Alaska Hemophilia Association, in conjunction with the Alaska Bleeding Disorder Clinics, is proud to announce the Eighth Annual Camp Frozen Chozen summer camp will be Monday, July 10, 2023 through Friday, July 14, 2023. Camp Frozen Chozen is requiring all adult staffing to be fully vaccinated and vetted. We will be doing background checks to finalize your application. Please click on the links below to complete the Adult Volunteer Form and Authorization for Background Check.

Volunteers are expected to be available at camp by 9:00am on Sunday, July 9th for training. Camp check-in is available for volunteers after 5:00pm on Saturday, July 8th and stay at camp until 12:00pm on Friday, July 14th. We request that incoming flights have you arrive by 4:00pm on Saturday, and departing times be after 4:00pm on Friday. We do ask any volunteers who can assist with their own airfare through work, or other options please do so. If this is not an option, Camp Frozen Chozen will cover any transportation costs to attend. Please contact John and provide either a copy of your travel itinerary or information for us to arrange travel as necessary.

This year's theme is "Every good space adventure begins with a mission". Counselors should be able to encourage and support their cabins in embracing the theme. Be thinking about Space themed ideas to incorporate into your cabin name, Wednesday evening talent show, (each cabin will do a joint skit this year) and campfire songs.
We are excited to be working with you this year and appreciate your willingness to volunteer and your time  and patience in completing this process.
